After this year's Anime Boston, I was hit with the sudden urge to go back and play Pokemon. My friend and I started talking and we decided to do Pokemon cosplay together. I knew that I definitely wanted to do a gym leader and I'd taken a liking to Green, so the rest was easy. The costume was a made in a rush, so it's far from being the most well made thing I've done, but overall, it looks okay. The pants were made out of a suiting material I've had lying around the house for at least five years. I was so glad to have finally found a good use for them. The side pockets are fully functional but the front ones are sewn shut since I didn't have time to sew snaps in. The jacket is made out of pleather and some scrap white material my friend had lying around. The shirt and shoes I already owned, while the belt was bought and the necklace was made out of sculpey. The wig was bought off of Taobao and was then cut and spiked by me using hairspray and a bit of glue. The earth badge pinned to the jacket's hood (which you can only see in some pictures) was cast out of resin. Pictures
