otomiya haine
Haine was another one of my spur of the moment cosplay. I had just started reading the manga and I liked the character designs. I'm not a fan of the finished product. It felt like one thing after another would go wrong. The only part of the entire outfit that I ended up being satisfied with was the skirt. The blouse underneath was an old school shirt. The jacket was made out of some nice polyester that I found. The skirt and the tie were made out of some unknown mix of materials fabric. The wig was too cheap to style properly for its original intended use, so it ended up being used for Haine. Overall, the costumes wasn't overly difficult to make. The main problem I had with it was getting the jacket to fit right (which still isn't perfect...). One good thing that came out of making this costume was that I learned how to tie a tie. Pictures
