General Comments:

A friend introduced me to the game and I ended up getting super into it. Half of the costume (the coat primarily) was super rushed and as a result, I'm not terribly happy with the results. The proportioning is a bit off and I didn't have a chance to finish up some of the detail work. I'm debating on how much of it to go back and fix before I wear it again...

Costume Construction:

Coat & pants: The pants were made out of a black cotton sateen I had lying around. The coat was made out of a suiting fabric and lined. The lapels/side panels were painted primarily by my wonderful friend Steph.

Shirt & cravat: The white shirt and cravat were made out of cotton - probably broadcloth.

Vests: The black vest was made out of the same black cotton sateen as the pants. The blue patterned part of the blue vest was designed by me and then ordered off of Spoonflower. Trying to match that blue was way more difficult than it had any right to be. I'm not terribly fond of the blue I ended up getting for the solid color part of the vest, but it was the closest I could find.

Belts & accessories: The white sash was made out of a crepe and the belt was made out of a suede I found on sale.

Wig Styling:

The wig was trimmed and styled by my friend Steph.

Props:

The katanas and sheaths were made out of wood by my dad.
