K-ON is one of those shows that I never originally intended to start watching and yet somehow, I got totally hooked. I absolutely adore the outfits they wear during the ending theme. Mio is one of my favorite characters of the show and I loved her dress the most, so it was an easy and spur of the moment costume to make. I'm quite happy with the finished product. It's a fairly comfortable costume to wear minus the heels. The main dress, bow, and hat were made out of leftover fabric I had lying around. I kind of wish the dress had a bit more poof to it, but that can probably be easily fixed by making a new petticoat. The wig and tights were bought off of Ebay. I kind of wish the tights were a bit more vibrant than they turned out being in person, but they're passable. The glove was made out of a shirt I got and cut up from H&M, and the shoes were bought from Le Chateau. Pictures
