Feldt is one of my favorite female characters from Gundam 00, and I'd been wanting to cosplay her since season 1. I just hated her outfit in the first season, so I was very happy with their new spiffy outfits in S2. The costume took a lot longer to make than I thought as I had to remake parts of it to my satisfaction. Overall, I'm very pleased with the overall finished product. My favorite aspect of it is definitely the wig. The blue undershirt was made out of extra fabric I had lying around from other costumes. I had to dye it a bit to acheive the color I wanted. I think I could probably still dye it a bit darker, but I'm lazy. >.> For the shirt, the green part was made out of a green lycra, while the white part was a white cotton with a slight stretch to it. I had to make the shirt twice since I got the proportions wrong the first time.The jacket was also made out of left over material I had lying around from old costumes. The darker pink part of it needed to be dyed a bit darker for my purposes. Funny enough, the sleeves were the most annoying part of this piece to make, just 'cause I made them kind of weirdly. Being the idiot that I am, I made the pants out of a strechy material, and I didn't pattern it out accordingly. Consequentially, it took me a while to modify them so they looked and fit properly. They're still a bit loose on me, and the belt doesn't really h help, but it's manageable. The boots were bought off of ebay and then modified. The wig was also bought off of ebay. In the end, I had to dye the wig, add wefts to both the front and back, trim it and then style it. Those curls took forever to do manually, and I'll probably have to redo them after every con or so, but I love the way it came out. <3 Pictures
