I'd been dying to cosplay something from TRC, but I could never find an outfit that I really liked. When I first read the Acid Tokyo arc, I'd contemplated doing Subaru, but it wasn't until my friend Hamano Ayumi said she wanted to cosplay vampire!Kamui that I made my decision. The costume took a lot longer to make than I thought, and there are parts of it that I'm not completely satisfied with such as the top of the cape and how it hangs. Overall, I'm relatively happy with it though.

The suit and pants were made of some type of wool material, while the cape was a heavy suiting and velvet. The top part of the cape was the most frustrating part of the entire costume and must have taken the most time to finish. It took the two of us forever to figure out how to make it stand up the way it was supposed to, and then how we'd attach it onto the suit. Eventually we settled for using wire and snaps. The cape chain was a plastic chain spray painted gold. The necklace chain was metal. The scarf was made of some type of satin, and the gloves were bought off of ebay.
